Marketing
Without losing my edge, I have amassed over 2 decades of marketing experience across a wide range of clients, mediums, and projects. I am a multi-disciplinary marketer and creative professional with business chops. I have been involved with, started, and worked for a lot of startups over the years in a few different verticals, and love the hustle of early stage startups. But I have also worked with large well-known brands and household names. I am always looking to push the boundaries of art and creativity and love to explore new mediums. Never one to shy away from a challenge, I believe there's a creative solution to every problem.
Over the course of my career I have ghost-written 5 non-fiction books for clients, and have a large collection of self-titled flash fiction, long fiction, and even movie scripts. Press releases, articles, case studies and blog posts are also in my wheelhouse and something I produce regularly for clients. I really enjoy working with colour and iconography to produce brand identities and have designed tons of logos for my clients as well as my own projects. I am a digital native and am comfortable managing social media teams, designing content, art directing, or conceiving and executing digital strategy. Website design and graphic design are core competencies and are the sort of bread and butter services I provide for my clients on a regular basis. These days I live in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and WithoutCode.
I am powered by an insane amount of black tea, a daily dose of eye candy for inspiration, and of course the thrill of a looming deadline. I provide a vast array of marketing and design services for my clients.

Communications
Ever since I won those perfect spelling awards 6 weeks in a row in elementary school, or wrote my first angsty teen existential poem, I've been fascinated with writing and the art of communication.
I have written flash fiction, poetry, movie scripts, and articles. I've stood on stage in front of audiences spouting out stand up poetry, and have even choked on my lines.
Typically the stuff that pays me is slightly less imaginative than all of that. These are things like press releases, blog posts, website copy, pitch decks, and ghostwriting non-fiction books. No matter what the project, I throw my heart and soul into it and do my best to make every project shine. I don't take on projects that don't interest me, which helps drive my curiosity and passion for my work.
Being a writer has been a huge win for every aspect of my career, whether it's pitching ideas, getting people on the same page, problem solving, or working on design projects. My love of writing and communications has been my greatest tool.

Art
I have always been an artist. For as long as I can remember. But calling myself that... It took some time. As with many artists, I am very self-conscious of my work and am also highly critical.
My art spans multiple mediums. I am truly experimental and love to play with technology and various design platforms. Right now I'm really loving my Apple Pencil and Procreate and I regularly use Adobe Creative Suite. But I also paint, do mixed media collage work, large scale installation art, play with video, sound, and love illustration and drawing. That's probably where the insecurity comes from. I have trouble staying in one lane when it comes to creativity. My inspiration takes me to all sorts of places, and I explore it all.
Fun Fact: In 2021 I launched 51 NFTs on OpenSea and sold out. It was a boutique collection called Banff Aliens. Gary Vaynerchuk bought two!
While I'm not that hot on producing NFT art right now, I still own a ton, and am still watching the space, as I do believe it's an exciting innovation in art.
