You Can't Ignore Destiny

I have been writing since the day I learned to spell my own name, and before that - thinking & questioning the world around me. My entire life has been filled with prose, poems, philosophical thought, ideas and an overflowing brain of creative concepts. For a while I told myself that being a full time writer was dumb and that I would never make any money at it. I tried to keep my writing as a hobby so I could focus on my career as a digital marketer. But even when I tried to turn my back on writing full time, it wasn't having it. I still had people come to me with writing projects on a pretty regular basis. It seemed no matter what I did, people continually wanted my help with copywriting, articles, and a vast array of writing projects. I quickly became aware that I was resisting what I inherently am meant to do. I stopped thinking about the stigmas and stereotypes associated with being a full time writer, and just allowed what came naturally to me to come to me. And it has, tenfold!

I am grateful every day for the fact that I get paid to do not only what I love to do, but what I am put here on this earth to do - write! Being a writer isn't a goal or a pipe dream for me, it's a reality. And I smile every day when I think about that.

So to my clients who have supported me as a writer, THANK YOU for helping to gently steer me in the direction that my life needed to go.
